A new two-storey teaching block was constructed at Great Bentley School as part of the school’s expansion to increase capacity by 210 pupils and support future educational needs. The facility provides seven classrooms, a studio room and two group learning spaces, creating a flexible learning environment for the Key Stage 2 students. It has been constructed using a contemporary pallet of red brickwork and dark grey cladding complementing the existing school estate. Our involvement comprised the full civil and structural engineering design and detailing, delivering efficient, practical and buildable solutions from concept through construction.
