The practice was founded in 1963 as a partnership with offices in London and later Southampton.
Associated offices have also been established in Dubai, Spain, and the Turks and Caicos Isles.
In 1990, the firm became incorporated as a limited company, and now operates as such, in common with many other professional practices.
Its head office was relocated to Bishops Stortford in 1992, from where the Directors and ten other technical and support staff now work.
In 2008 there were further company developments which included widening the expertise of the current board of directors.

Company culture
All projects whatever their size are appraised and controlled by a director with relevant experience. The Director will remain responsible for all aspects of the project throughout its execution in the office and on site.
